Top Six Tattoo Picks: Moses Savea

Hosted by tattoo artist Louie Tattooie, The Blunt Mag Tattoo Podcast is a series which dives deep into the philosophy of tattooing featuring some of the industries most prolific identities. For Episode 4, Louie invites the bad-boy star of Bondi Ink, and founder / owner of Fourth Gallery Moses Savea. Catch up on Episode 3 with Eddy Lou.

You may remember him as the cheeky bugger from Season 1 of Bondi Ink Tattoo Crew…or the cheeky bugger featured on hit-series Tattoo Tales. In fact, Sydney-based tattoo artist and owner of Fourth Gallery in Cronulla, Moses Savea AKA Inkless Moses has somewhat of an image of being a cheeky bugger; but don’t let that fool you. Despite what you saw on your screens, Moses is a schemer – a talented one at that, who’s background in Architecture afforded him a larger perspective on the world of tattooing, crafting his own Grand Design, if you will.

Inkless Moses was kind enough to stop by for the latest episode of The Blunt Mag Tattoo Podcast to share his tattoo superhero origin story, and his insights into the game. Cheeky? Sure. But an unwavering dedication to the hustle? Absolutely.

Originally from New Zealand, Moses was drawn into the world of body modification and already has left a massive mark on the Australian tattooing landscape, and for that matter – on the Australian population. If you’ve caught yourself taken aback by an uncanny realism piece – whether it be black and white or colour – there’s every chance this was an Inkless Moses original. Turning pieces into damn-near photo quality precision, Moses has earned a rep as the guy to speak to if you’re keen on bringing your soon-to-be tattooed piece to life.

Though Australia isn’t the limit for Moses and his team – Following international exposure from the aforementioned TV appearances, Moses has now caught the taste of it, making known his plans to spread the brand internationally, making moves to set up shop in China.

No doubt you’re already itching to book in a session, but here’s some choice pieces from his catalogue to get you even more pumped.
