Architects announce Aussie tour slated for 2023

To coincide with the release of their tenth studio album today, beloved Brighton metalcore act Architects have announced that they will hit our shores with an Australian tour slated for next year. You can catch the band this coming February at venues across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. New record the classic symptoms of a broken spirit is out now via Epitaph Records, and we would say this accompanying news is cause for quite the celebration for Australian fans.

Frontman Sam Carter shared some words in anticipation of the announcement, offering: “We are honestly so excited to get back to one of our favourite places in the world. Australia always makes us feel like home and has given us some incredible memories and we can’t wait to get back out and make more!”

Carter and the gang have been hard at work on their latest album, which was produced by Dan Searle and Josh Middleton with additional production from Carter at Deacon’s Middle Farm Studios as well as Electric Studios in Brighton. Carte has described the release as “more live, more existing and more fun” than its predecessors, given that it represented the act reuniting to collaborate in person after having to work on music together in the pandemic remotely. Searle added that it was “free, playful and spontaneous” in contrast to previous work. the classic symptoms of a broken spirit follows on from 2021’s ARIA No.1 album For Those That Wish To Exist.
