We may only be halfway through April, but the enterprising folks at UNIFY Gathering are already up to their old tricks again, linking fans to a countdown that’s set to end at 9am on Wednesday June 22nd.
In typical UNFD fashion, the UNIFY Gathering website is cryptic as all hell and could mean any number of things, from a ticket on-sale date to the actual lineup – especially given the site starts blaring Darude’s “Sandstorm” as soon as you land on the page. The festival has now sold out two years in a row at breakneck speed, so whatever the news you won’t want to snooze on tickets.
After wrapping up last year’s event, festival founder Luke Logemann issued a statement telling fans that, contrary to popular belief (in light of the demise of Soundwave) heavy music is alive and well, and that you can bet your sweet arse UNIFY will be back for round three in January 2017.
Last year UNIFY Gathering exceeded our wildest expectations of what an Aussie music festival could deliver, even down to the tiger snake that was caught vibing under the main stage. We’ll give you an update on the fest as soon as we get our hands on it.
