I Killed The Prom Queen To Play ‘Music For The Recently Deceased’ In Full

One of the country’s pioneering metalcore acts have announced that they’ll be playing a one-off show at an intimate venue in Brisbane next month.

I Killed The Prom Queen will be stopping by The Brightside in Fortitude Valley on April 28 to crank out their breakthrough album, Music For The Recently Deceased, in full. Why, you ask? Well, not to be the bearers of “Yes, you really are that old” news, but 2016 marks the album’s tenth anniversary – because yes, you really are that old.

A few days ago the band teased on Facebook that they have “two HUGE announcements coming” this week, with fans speculating the chances of a new album and accompanying headline tour. Maybe the guys are just really stoked to be playing “The Deepest Sleep” and “Bet It All On Black” in quick succession again.

Tickets are on sale now and locals Exile, Misguided and Exiled In Eden have snatched up support slots for the show, so it probably goes without saying that these tickets won’t be hanging around for long.
