Foo Fighters have cancelled their headlining performance at the Soundside Music Festival just two days before the event. The cancellation, announced via the band’s social media channels, read: “FOO FIGHTERS will no longer be appearing at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information.”
While no official reason has been given, a representative for the band responded with a “no comment” when pressed for details. This decision comes shortly after frontman Dave Grohl revealed that he fathered a child with a mystery woman, though it’s unclear if the two events are related.
Festival-goers need not worry, however, as Jack White has been confirmed to replace Foo Fighters on day two of the event. With White stepping in, fans can still expect a powerful performance to close out the festival.
