Alexisonfire Announce Live At Copps Release
We’d be lying if we said it didn’t still sting that Alexisonfire called it a day back in 2012. Sure, the Canucks have gotten the band back together to play festivals abroad like Reading & Leeds, and even announced that they were “officially” back together in September of last year (though with no signs of new tunes or Australian tour dates on the way, we’re not gonna hold our breath on that one).
To ease that pain, Dine Alone Records have announced that they’ll be putting out a new live release from the band’s final farewell tour show at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario via iTunes on February 12th.
Alexisonfire: Live At Copps is the perfect chance to relive the band’s explosive live show, with the release featuring a whopping 24 of the band’s best cuts performed to a 10,000-strong crowd. “Boiled Frogs”, “.44 Caliber Love Letter”, “No Transitory”, “Rough Hands”, Born And Raised”… There’s a 99% chance all your favourites are here, with the tracklist spanning the band’s entire discography from their self-titled debut LP through to their final EP, Dogs Blood.
For the audiophiles and die-hards among us, the release will also be available as a 4xLP set available for pre-order from Dine Alone’s webstore. If you can remember the hell that was trying to buy the band’s limited edition box set a couple Christmases ago, you’ll want to get dibs on this one quickly. The vinyl set features 4x 180g black LPs, as well as a digital download card and an exclusive Blu-ray featuring the entire Live At Copps performance as well as other extras.
