The dizzying heights of once again hearing the soaring vocals of Chester Bennington also bring the crushing reality that the world truly has lost one of its brightest sparks.
Now that the album’s Friday, 26th June release date approaches, Blunt Magazine, in cahoots with Fearless Records and 24Hundred, are giving fans the opportunity to celebrate the life and art of Chester Bennington, as well as the triumphant release of Amends with a Zoom meet & greet with Grey Daze drummer, and Chester’s life-long best friend, Sean Dowdell.
10 fans will get the opportunity to dial in for a one-on-one meet & greet with Sean to chat about Amends, how the album came to life and the legacy of Chester Bennington.
Prior to becoming a household name as the head of Linkin Park, Chester cut his teeth as the frontman with his first band, Arizona’s Grey Daze. A lifetime later, and before his shocking and sudden passing, Chester had begun putting into motion a passion project that would see the group’s unreleased music come to life.
Chester passed before the project would become a reality, however his erstwhile bandmates retained the passion, piecing the record together with various vocal tracks recorded by Chester many years ago.
The release of Amends was wholeheartedly supported by Chester’s family with his son Jamie directing the official video for Amends cut ‘Soul Song’.
