Pierce The Veil are cracking open The Jaws of Life once more, with new track ‘Kiss Me Now.’
This Friday, May 9, Pierce The Veil will release the deluxe edition of their 2023 chart-dominating LP The Jaws of Life, which originally landed at #14 on the Billboard Top 200, and scored a knockout with a #1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart.
The record’s breakout single Emergency Contact earned them their first-ever #1 at Alternative Radio and, alongside Pass The Nirvana, Even When I’m Not With You, and 12 Fractures (feat. Chloe Moriondo), helped rack up more than 140 million streams.
Now, with the Deluxe version of The Jaws of Life, Pierce The Veil is adding two new cuts to the mix – and they’re both massive swings. First up: their haunting take on Radiohead’s Karma Police, previously released as a standalone in 2024. Then there’s the brand-new single ‘Kiss Me Now‘, which shows a more vulnerable edge from frontman Vic Fuentes without losing the sonic punch fans expect.
While The Jaws of Life (Deluxe) isn’t out until this Friday, ‘Kiss Me Now’ is already available as a taste of what’s to come from Pierce the Veil. You can check out the track, alongside the official music video, below:
“Lyrically, Kiss Me Now is a love song to my wife, Danielle,” Fuentes shares. “It’s about how time slips through your fingers and that fear of waiting too long to act. There’s a quote that stuck with me: ‘There will never be a perfect time for anything.’ That idea really hit home. I tend to overthink, and this song is me reminding myself to just let go.”
With the deluxe edition, Pierce The Veil are doubling down — part reflective, part relentless — and reminding us why they’re still at the top of their game.
