Steel Panther Ask You To ~Lower The Bar~ With New Album Announcement

Steel Panther 2016

Ah, shit, here we go again.

Hair metal hellions Steel Panther are fuelling up the DeLorean for another trip to the ’80s, and this time, they’re getting spicier, sweatier, and of course, sexier. The fourwhoresome are set to release their fourth (fifth, if you count 2003’s Hole Patrol) album on February 27th – Lower The Bar follows up on 2014’s career-defining All You Can Eat, and – its title be damned – looks to reach heights nobody thought the band ever could.

To accompany the announcement, the band have dropped an NSFW (but really, is anything from Steel Panther SFW?) for the album’s lead single: a ‘sexified’ cover of Cheap Trick‘s iconic 1982 banger, “She’s Tight”. The scorching number features a killer drop-in from CT’s own Robin Zander, alongside cameos in the video from Bobbie Brown, Paris Michael Jackson (Michael’s daughter) and Tony Palermo from Papa Roach.

“Cheap Trick was one of my favorite bands when I was younger,” said frontman Michael Starr. “I’m so proud to have recorded this track for our new album and also to have Robin Zander himself sing with me on the song. It’s like a dream come true.”

Get filthy with “She’s Tight (ft. Robin Zander of Cheap Trick)” below!
