Issues Will Replace Of Mice & Men On A Day To Remember’s Australian Tour

We’ve got some good news, and we’ve got some bad news.

The bad news is that Of Mice & Men have pulled out of their Australian tour supporting A Day To Remember next month, citing the currently on-edge health of frontman Austin Carlile as their catalyst. While they made every move possible to keep things on task, Carlile’s health hasn’t been strengthening as expected, so unfortunately, they’ll need to sit the five-date run out.

“The band appreciates your understanding and support of Austin’s daily struggle with his chronic illness, and we want our fans to know that he is taking the time and measures needed to recover from his extensive hospital stay,” the band wrote in a statement. “We hope to see you all soon.”

Their replacement – and the good news – comes in Atlanta metalcore crew Issues, who are using the slot as an opportunity to smash out tunes from their latest album, Headspace, which dropped back in May. The tour will be their first Down Under since 2014, when they supported The Amity Affliction.

It was also announced recently that Tonight Alive will be opening the shows, which hit Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane throughout December.
