Hear Tonight Alive’s Brand New Track “Human Interaction”

Tonight Alive

And just like that, Sydney pop-punk megastars Tonight Alive have announced a new album. After teasing us only a couple days ago with a 15-second snippet, the band have today released the video clip for their latest single, “Human Interaction”, along with details of their upcoming album, Limitless, which is set for release March 4, 2016.

In the clip we see frontwoman Jenna McDougall sporting a full head of bright green braids in what’s one of the band’s most emotive tracks yet. “Human Interaction” is an unexpected and powerful departure from Tonight Alive’s token pop-punk roots and already has fans losing their minds.

Limitless was recorded and mixed at The House Of Loud in New Jersey with production maestro David Bendeth (who can put his name to the work of Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon and Crossfaith among countless others). It settles in as the follow-up to the band’s 2013 breakthrough album, The Other Side, which scored a #5 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart.

For those keen to get a sense of the new album, McDougall explains, “Limitless is a record that is just as much about redefining boundaries as it is about challenging the illusory concept of boundaries itself. Following an emotional reaction to our second record The Other Side and the healing of its touring cycle, we found the clarity to explore a newfound, centred version of ourselves where creating something meaningful and everlasting was of the highest importance.

”We tore away every formula, structure and safety net we knew to embrace a complete unlearning and evolution. This record shares our journey of harnessing personal power and acts as the long awaited answer to the questions of our previous records.”

Just in case all of that wasn’t enough, the band will also be hitting three intimate east coast venues in January following their appearance at this year’s Unify Gathering.

Limitless is out March 4 through Sony.
