Green Day Are Bringing The Revolution To Australian Arenas In 2017

Green Day

Do you know your enemy!? Well, it’s definitely not Frontier Touring today, because after teasing us with a (very much not so) cryptic social tile yesterday, they’re bringing Green Day to our sandy, punk rock-deprived shores. The terrific trio were last seen jamming out to their ‘Strayan fanbase in 2014, where they headlined the penultimate Soundwave lineup.

The arena tour – their first run of headliners Down Under since motherfucking 2009 – will kick off at the tail end of April ’17, giving you a solid six months to learn every teenage angst-riddled lyric to their enormous new album, Revolution Radio, by heart. A top-notch return to form for the faux-punk powerhouse, Revolution Radio drops tomorrow (!!!) via Reprise and Warner.

No word on support acts just yet, but when your shows are as goddamn huge as Green Day’s are (for reference, they hit SW14 with three-hour sets), do you even really need any!? The shows (all of which are all ages, too!) will roll through Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Revolution Radio drops October 7th via Reprise / Warner
Pre-order it: JB HiFi | Sanity | Webstore | iTunes
