Crossfaith Return With Crushing New Single “Rx Overdrive”

After teasing some cryptic (and mildly unsettling) CC-TV images over on their website, Japan’s premier Jägercore merchants Crossfaith have returned with an absolutely crushing new single and the news that they’ll be dropping a surprise mini EP.

The fast-paced “Rx Overdrive” is the latest offering from the Osaka locals and is part of the new three-track digital EP, New Age Warriors, which also features the songs “Kill ‘Em All” and “Revolution”. The best news? You’ll have these tracks ripping through your eardrums in no time as the EP is released via iTunes and Spotify tomorrow (yes, more new Crossfaith is only one freakin’ sleep away).

The bite-size EP follows the band’s latest full-length, Xeno, which came out in September 2015 and marked Crossfaith’s first release with much-loved Aussie label UNFD. Let us be the first to say that “Rx Overdrive” is a return to the band’s heavy, heavy roots.

“Welcome to the new era! It’s time to get wild,” says the band’s frontman Kenta Koie. “We are the New Age Warriors, and you would touch the future of Crossfaith with our new songs. We’re so excited about bringing out more new music to you guys, so get ready!”

We’re excited too, Ken, we’re excited too.
