Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 drops July 11 with a stacked soundtrack featuring Mastodon, King Gizzard, Drain, AFI, and more.

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater legacy was never just about kickflips and grind combos – it was about what was blasting through your headphones while you nailed them. And with the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake landing July 11, the soundtrack is once again stacked enough to shape a whole new generation’s taste in music.

Wave three of the soundtrack just dropped, and it’s loaded. Think Mastodon’s “Precious Stones,” King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s “Gila Monster,” Drain’s “Living Proof,” Bad Brains’s “House Of Suffering,” and AFI’s “The Boy Who Destroyed The World.” These join a lineup that already includes Iron MaidenAlice in ChainsTurnstileKittieDenzel CurryRun-D.M.C.X-Ray Spex, and De La Soul. Yes, it’s as loud and chaotic as a 900 over a stair set.

The devs promised a soundtrack that mashes up iconic tracks from the original Pro Skater 3 and 4 with a fresh injection of modern legends and rising noise-makers, and they’ve delivered. From punk and metal to hip-hop and funk, the energy is all killer, no filler.

Here’s the announcement featuring the full lineup for ‘wave three’ of soundtrack announcements:

THPS fest – a celebration of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, featuring live performances from artists in-game, interviews with pro skaters and gameplay – is set to stream live later today as well.

For those keeping score at home on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4Pro Skater 3 dropped in 2001, Pro Skater 4 followed in 2002, and now, more than two decades later, the full-blown remake is set to land on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Expect cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players, deep create-a-park tools, and a whole lot of mayhem.

If your first taste of underground music came from watching Rodney Mullen defy physics while CKY screamed through your TV speakers, you already know this is more than a game – it’s a cultural reset.
