Luca Brasi Announce Support Acts For National Tour
We’re officially in the home stretch – there’s less than three weeks to go before Tasmanian summer-rock shredders Luca Brasi head off on the promotional tour for “Aeroplane”, and ‘excited’ doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel about these shows. In the build-up to the big days, they’ve opened the bag on a handful of local acts to support the blokes – alongside Sydney moodcore punks Endless Heights and English indie rockers Brawlers – on each date of the run.
In Melbourne, they’ll be joined by local pop-rock powerhouse Self Talk. In Adelaide, post-hardcore hellions Raccoon City Police Department will open the first pits. In Hobart and Launceston, fans can look forward to getting their fists up to some choice jams from indie rockers The Saxons. For Sydney and Brisbane, respectively, DIY punk duo H A N N A H B A N D and alt-rock arse-kickers Walken will kick the night into gear. With each band bringing their own unique flavour to the table, this is set to be one tour punters won’t soon forget.
Currently in a cycle which sees a spin every other hour on Triple J, Luca Brasi dropped “Aeroplane” at the end of last year to a ridiculous (but very much deserved) amount of acclaim. The group are due to follow it with a full-length sometime in the year, and of course, with an even bigger tour to follow.
Give the new single “Aeroplane” a spin below.
