I Killed The Prom Queen Announce ‘Music For The Recently Deceased’ 10-Year Anniversary Tour

Screen Shot 2016-03-31 at 7.09.22 PM

A couple of days ago, we broke word that one of the country’s pioneering metalcore acts – the one and only I Killed The Prom Queen – were hitting Brisbane up for one special night of mosh, shots, and sweet, sweet nostalgia. We also made everyone think Crafter was coming back with the old promo shot we used – he isn’t, but we’ll be the first to admit that would be pretty fucking sweet!

For everyone else who isn’t currently sweating things up in Heatsland Queensland, however, the band have now announced a full-scale headline tour to commemorate the ten year anniversary (yes, it’s been ten whole years!) of their 2006 classic, Music For The Recently Deceased.

Ya boys will hit Bunbury, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane in April, smashing out their magnum side-fringe-core opus from cover to cover. Supports are yet to be announced – aside from the aforementioned Brisbane show, where early punters will mosh out to locals Exile, Misguided and Exiled In Eden.

At the end of last week, the band teased on Facebook that they have “two HUGE announcements coming” this week, with fans speculating the chances of a new album and accompanying headline tour. With one announcement down, all sights are set on what else IKTPQ have up their sleeves…
