Yellowcard Drop A Bombshell; Detail New Self-Titled Album
For many, Yellowcard were the gateway into some of our
cringiest finest emo years, which no doubt lead to screaming “its not just a phase!” to our parents at some point (ah, nostalgia!).
After taking what felt like a fucking lifetime to release an album with Razor & Tie Records in 2014, Yellowcard have announced that they will (finally) be working once again with the legends over at Hopeless Records, with whom they recently re-signed with to hit the studio and release their much awaited self-titled album.
Hopeless Records have previously released some of Yellowcards most successful full-length albums including 2011′s When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes, 2012′s Southern Air, and 2013′s Ocean Avenue Acoustic.
They made the announcement with a video posted to their Facebook page, which you can check out by clicking that damn beautiful aqua blue.
Unfortunately, the band have currently only revealed the simple, elegant artwork for the release, along with the track list.
One thing that we do know, however, is that we sure are glad that Yellowcard didn’t leave this town and run forever – and we’ll be sure to keep you updated as more details are released! Oh, and speaking of ‘released’, the self-titled LP will be in your hands on September 30th. Anyone got a time machine?
