Volumes Reclaim Rights To First Two Albums From Sketchy Label

American metalcore act Volumes have taken to their Facebook page recently, exclaiming that they finally reclaimed all rights for their first two records – Via and No Sleep. Fans can now sleep well knowing that their hard earned pocket money is heading directly to the band.

The band stated that since 2011’s Via and 2014’s No Sleep, they’ve not been able to receive any of their royalties from label Mediaskare Records. The albums sold a collective 40,000 units, which would have meant a nice little pay cheque for the band otherwise.

The band also added that the unfortunate events lead them to face accred debt – which they will tackle through future album sales, rather than going down the crowdfunding path most bands seem to be sourcing as of late.
