Unwritten Law Are Returning To Oz In December
Fuck your lockout laws and hide your drum kits, because San Diego skate punks Unwritten Law are blasting back to our shores this December for eight dates of melodic mayhem – and yes, they’re returning to Perth.
Breaking out at the dawn of the ‘90s, Unwritten Law quickly built themselves a speeding road to punk dominance, thanks in no short part to the band’s frenzied 1994 debut, Blue Room. The following five albums developed the group a legacy brimming with unforgettable highlights and arena-filling anthems, and through heavy-hitting singles the likes of “Celebration Song”, “Cailin” and “She Says” (amongst a remarkable slew of others), the band have propelled themselves as a driving force well into the present day.
Coming along for the ride this December are Adelaide trailblazers Grenadiers. Having recently released their sophomore cracker, Summers, the trio are set to deliver a raging set of high energy beer-core on all dates of the tour.
The last time Unwritten Law tore up our stages, the quartet wound up in a fit of drum-destroying rage after promoters at the Capitol cut their power when the band refused to wrap up their set. If that run was any indication, we’re in for some truly unforgettable shit this time around.
Tickets on sale Wednesday September 9 @ 10am.
