The “Make America Rock Again” Lineup Is Like 2001: The Tour
“Are you tired of empty promises? This is one party that won’t let you down.”
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. Just ask the promoter that looked out at the current touring landscape and whispered to himself: needs more 2001. “Make America Rock Again” – billed as “the tour that trumps them all” – has resurrected a dozen bands from the height of your youth (we’re talking late ’90s/early ’00s) and bundled them all together into one epic lineup.
Alien Ant Farm
Puddle Of Mudd
We’d catch you up on where these bands have been hiding for the last 15 years, but other than Puddle Of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin’s various run-ins with the law we’re… we’re not really sure.
The tour kicks off August 6 in El Paso, Texas before winding up in Mitchell, Nebraska 45-odd dates later on October 7. Despite Australia’s love of all things the rest of the world generally gave up on eight years prior, there’s currently no mention of the tour making its way Down Under. But if you’re up for the trek, you can suss out tickets at makeamericarockagain.com – we expect nothing less than a detailed report on your return.
