Sydney’s Hellions Join Enter Shikari National Tour

Enter Shikari

Local Sydney lads Hellions have been confirmed as the second support on Enter Shikari’s upcoming The Mindsweep Tour. The hardcore trio find themselves in good company alongside Canberra’s Hands Like Houses, and they’re also fresh off the release of their second full-length, Indian Summer, which came out in January through UNFD and managed to crack the top 20 on the ARIA Album Chart (as well as earn some serious stereo play at BLUNT HQ). The boys have a huge year ahead of them and five shows opening for UK genre-benders Enter Shikari this May means things are well on the way. Check out our interview with Hellions’ Dre Faivre from BLUNT #135 on the making of Indian Summer.

“We feel awesome, we’re looking awesome. It always sucks losing members, and those things in life that do stop you from excelling, but the three of us – Anthony, Gravolin and myself – we’ve always known what direction we’ve wanted to go, what we’ve wanted to do. It’s going to be a big year, it’s going to be a mad year, we’re going to have some fun with it – it’s going to be awesome.” – Dre Faivre

After arguing with thermometers and opening minds with A Flash Flood Of Colour, Enter Shikari have introduced listeners to a whole new set of issues with their latest album The Mindsweep. We recently chatted to frontman Rou Reynolds where the singer offered some advice on life in the twenty-first century and dealing with a PM who refuses to acknowledge climate change.
