State Champs Drop “All You Are Is History” Video

It doesn’t take a pop-punk purist to know that State Champs are taking over the scene in an excessively speedy fashion. Their dangerously fun summer jams have led to the New York five-piece snagging massive supporting gigs with heavyweights like All Time Low and 5 Seconds Of Summer, and they’re not too far from reaching that status themselves – all that’s left to catapult them into superstardom is a killer new album. Cue Around The World And Back, State Champs’ much-awaited sophomore album set for release (and ridiculous amounts of success) on October 16.

In preparation for the drop, the band have premiered a brand new video for “All You Are Is History”, a VHS-tinted ode to one of pop-punk’s most tried and tested tiers – the breakup. “’All You Are Is History’ is a song about putting someone behind you, despite their efforts to hang out. We think the video represents that theme very well,” says guitarist Tyler Szalkowski. “The video was a blast to make and [director] Max Moore was awesome to work with. We’re very happy with how this turned out!”

Around The World And Back is out October 16 through Pure Noise.
