Shihad Announce More Dates On Their Aussie Tour

On top of four Western Australian dates, Wellington rockers Shihad have announced the second leg of their upcoming tour, which will now see them hit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Hunter Valley this July.
The shows will be in celebration of the 20th anniversary of what most call The Fish Album. That’s the name given to Shihad’s third full-length, which is actually self-titled. It recently got a remastering in acknowledgement of the two decades that have passed since it was recorded at York St Studios in Auckland. The band has proclaimed that they’ll be playing “huge chunks of it and Blue Light Disco (plus of course other smash hits from our repertoire)”. It will hopefully also see them play a couple of tunes from their latest effort, 2014’s FVEY.
Accompanying Shihad for the Western Australia part of the tour will be Storytime, while most of their east coast events will feature Adelaide punk rockers Grenadiers. Grenadiers shot to local prestige last year after the release of their second studio album, Summer.
Prepare yourself with a live rendition of Shihad’s “Ghost From The Past” below.
