PVRIS Have 45 Songs In The Bag For Album #2
PVRIS have been hinting at the release of their new album – the follow up to 2014 debut White Noise – for a while now, and it seems fans can now rejoice with a highly anticipated update on the progression.
Frontwoman Lynn Gunn posted a photo to her Twitter recently, sharing an insight into what the dark pop three-piece have been working on. The image revealed that a total of 45 tracks (holy shit!) have been recorded in preparation for the album – a number Gunn admits she must cut down by 3/4. (just putting this out there: we definitely wouldn’t be complaining with a 4-disc album!).
“We’re gonna be recording up in upstate New York in an old church that has been renovated into a studio,” she claimed. “Apparently it’s haunted, and apparently the house that we’re staying at is haunted too.”
PVRIS’ latest jam is “You And I”, which dropped back in February as the lead single from the deluxe edition of White Noise.
