Oli Sykes Gives Zero Fucks; Destroys Coldplay’s Table At NME Awards

UK heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon sure know how to make themselves stand out in a room full of some of the world’s most notable musicians. At this year’s NME Awards during their live performance of “Happy Song”, frontman Oli Sykes made like Totally Unicorn’s Drew Gardner and went on a next-level rampage around the room.

Whether or not Sykes has been holding onto some serious angst following claims that Coldplay copied his band’s iconic Sempiternal artwork or he just flat-out didn’t want to be there and acted on a whim, it’s probably no accident that the table he destroyed belonged to none other than Coldplay.

UK blogger Zoe London was in attendance and managed to capture some footage of Sykes levelling Coldplay’s table, before ruckusing his way back to the stage to finish the song.

Thankfully Chris Martin knows how to take a joke (he kind of has to at this point) and reacted like a total champ, laughing and even giving BMTH a standing ovation.

This has just got us even more stoked for the band’s upcoming tour this September.
