Modern Baseball Announce 2016 Australian Tour Dates
Prepare your sad boy shirts and “whatever, forever” faces: the Pennsylvanian members of emo’s new wave, Modern Baseball, have announced that they’ll be embarking on an Australian tour this April.
If you currently reside anywhere other the east coast, get ready for a road trip because this run of shows is only taking in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
The tour announcement comes after Modern Baseball’s cancellation of their visit to our shores last year. They were set to play the Poison City Weekender Fest, as well as dates alongside Long Island outfit Iron Chic. The outfit took time out to enable frontman Brendan Lukens to recover from mental health troubles. Luckily for us, they’ve fulfilled their promise to come back.
Modern Baseball’s third full-length album, Holy Ghost, will be unleashed unto the world later this year. It follows on from the 2014 LP that made you cry every night before you went to sleep, You’re Gonna Miss It All, but which people will still fight you about, contending that their debut album Sports is better.
