Meet One Of Fearless Records’ Latest Signings, Wage War

Looking for some new metalcore to sink your teeth into? Might we suggest “Twenty One”, the second single from Wage War’s upcoming debut LP, Blueprints. The Floridian five-piece are a recent addition to the Fearless Records roster, joining their ranks in June and standing alongside label-mates such as August Burns Reds, Pierce The Veil and our own Tonight Alive. Of the band’s forthcoming release, guitarist Cody Quistad said, “It’s our first record and our first chance to show people what we’re about. So we really went all out to deliver the best songs we could possibly write and play them to the best of our ability. I think a lot of people are going to be surprised.”

Blueprints boasts an impressive line-up of collaborators, being produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, The Ghost Inside) and A Day To Remember’s Jeremy McKinnon, while the music video for “Twenty One” was directed by Max Moore (Of Mice & Men, Silverstein, Real Friends).

“We are very excited to finally release ‘Twenty One’. Musically, this song maintains our heavy roots while exploring the more melodic side of our band,” said Quistad. “Twenty One is a figurative number for a time when you start to understand and accept life, learn that you’re forgiven, and feel proud of who you really are, no matter your background. We shot the video with Max Moore and could not be more pleased with how it came out.”

Blueprints is out November 27 through Fearless/UNFD.
