The Amity Affliction And All Your Faves Are Playing Hellfest 2016
In the wake of Soundwave Festival’s cancellation, this one just plain hurts. Despite some very real explanations – such as the extreme costs and logistics of international acts touring Down Under – it’s impossible not to compare the festival line-ups in Oz to those seen around the world. Case in point: Hellfest.
The three-day French music festival is celebrating its tenth birthday in style with a line-up that boasts over 150 acts, including our own The Amity Affliction and Thy Art Is Murder. No matter what sort of heavy music you’re partial to, we’re willing to bet that there’s at least a band or two that catches your eye. Dig metalcore? Hit up August Burns Red, Bury Tomorrow and Atreyu. Punk more your style? Try Refused, Bad Religion and The Offspring. Devout metalhead? Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Slayer will all be putting on something huge.
Three-day passes for the event have already sold out (because of course they have), but more single-day tickets are being made available for those who fancy a quick trip to the land of berets, baguettes and Gojira. Head to hellfest.fr for more info on how to snap them up, because these ones certainly won’t last long.
Behold this year’s Hellfest line-up in all its glory.
