Emmure Frontman Seemingly Unbearable; All Other Members Quit

It was only two days ago that we were all talking about how Thy Art Is Murder lost their frontman, and would be moving forward with a replacement vocalist. Well, the exact opposite just happened to New York metalcore outfit Emmure. Pulling the ultimate Confession, all four members – except for frontman Frankie Palmeri – ditched the band yesterday to embark on a new musical endeavour (together, no less), citing beef with Palmeri as the catalyst for their exit.
“As some of you may or may not have heard, Jesse, Mikael, Adam, and myself are no longer in Emmure. We have decided collectively to pursue other endeavor,” bassist Mike Davis offered in a statement provided to Lambgoat. “We would like to thank the Emmure fans for all the support and love over the years, and to everyone who has help the band on its way, you are all greatly appreciated. Be on the lookout for a new project from the four of us in 2016.”
No official reason was given upon the announcement, but fans immediately pointed the finger at Palmeri (after all, when has anything like this ever been anybody else’s fault?). Following up in an interview with Alternative Press, Davis admitted that the decision was made following a show in Russia on September 9th. “We all expected to come back to a refreshed, productive and positive work environment, but that was not the case,” he said.
As for the future of Emmure, Palmeri has assured fans that the project is far from over, with plans for a new studio album and world tour to unfold in 2016. No details on the band’s new lineup have been released – nor have they likely been locked in – but it’s expected that a full backing band will be recruited to fill in the blanks.
