Jesse Hughes, frontman of the legendary Californian act Eagles Of Death Metal, showed a little bit of love on stage in Perth last night by proposing to his girlfriend, Tuesday Cross.

According to theMusic’s recount, Hughes took a knee down to propose after Cross joined the rockers to perform their tune “Complexity”. Reviewer Mark Beresford described the rest of the set as “a blur”, with the Eagles “unable to wipe the smiles from their faces as they played up their room with their charming animated antics”.

Eagles Of Death Metal have been playing shows off the back of this year’s Bluesfest, making appearances in Melbourne, Sydney and Fremantle. Their visit marks their first time out since their involvement in the tragic Paris attacks last year, where gunmen entered the venue they were playing in and opened fire.

Since then, the band has been encouraging artists to cover their track, “I Love You All The Time” as part of the Sweet Stuff Foundation’s campaign to assist victims of the devastating event. Florence And The Machine, Imagine Dragons, Kings Of Leon, Mini Mansions and Jimmy Eat World are just some of the artists that have taken part. You can donate directly to the campaign here.
