Don’t Freak Out, But Architects Are Teasing A New Single

British metalcore gods Architects are set to release a new single soon, and if you think you’re freaking out, you should see us.

The outfit have teased “A Match Made In Heaven” with a short clip you can view below, as well as posting this exciting graphic which teases a date and the BBC Radio 1 logo. Translation: Architects are dropping a new tune on March 6 which will premiere via BBC Radio 1 and it’s going to be fucking epic.

The new track’s snippet is prefaced in the politically charged video with a montage set to former US President John F. Kennedy’s April 27, 1961 address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association. Frontman Sam Carter tweeted that Architects have “gone all Beyoncé” with the surprise, but he “can’t wait” for everyone to hear it.

It’d be a lie to say that the Brighton band’s follow-up to 2014’s groundbreaking Lost Forever//Lost Together isn’t one of our most anticipated releases for 2016. Prepare yourselves for it by rediscovering your frustration with our current political climate and riling up to their intense brand of woke-metalcore. We will be.

Watch the teaser for “A Match Made In Heaven” below.
