Corey Taylor Is Hosting A Radio Show On Apple Music

Love him or hate him (though we all know the latter is impossible), Corey Taylor has a lot to say on a lot of topics. The frontman for costumed metal icons Slipknot and hard rock heroes Stone Sour has never shied from sharing his often loaded opinions, and come tomorrow afternoon, he’ll have a whole new platform to exude them on: radio.

Just last week, Taylor scared the shit out of metalheads everywhere by announcing he would consider stepping away from Slipknot at some point in the future. Rest assured that won’t be happening any time soon (we hope), but Taylor will be making his Apple Music debut with A Series Of Bleeps, the 42-year-old’s very own talk-based radio show program.

He joins a stunning roster boasting weekly shows from Elton John, Pharrell, HAIM, Charli XCX, Drake and more over on Beats 1, and will be the first heavy music artist to stream his own show. Each week, Taylor will report rant – amongst other things – on his favourite metal, rock, rap and more.

A Series Of Bleeps with Corey Taylor will be a weekly affair, airing for us Down Under at 2pm every Thursday, starting tomorrow. Encore streams will take place at 4am on Friday mornings, too, for those more inclined to live nocturnally.

A Series Of Bleeps with Corey Taylor is set to premiere this Thursday at 2pm* via Apple Music’s Beats 1.
