Bring Me The Horizon Bring Us The Most Epic Music Video Of 2015

Ambientcore lads Bring Me The Horizon are certainly no strangers to the divine artform of genuinely interesting music videos. Whether they’re being downright disturbing, or inspiring festival meltdowns (shoutout to anyone that remembers Soundwave ’13), Sheffield’s chart smashing genre-benders have always had a keen eye for turning heads. Case in point: the short film they’ve conjured up for their latest single, “True Friends”.

Clocking in at almost eight full minutes of polarising genius, the new clip is BMTH’s longest, and as such features an ambiguously macabre story revolving around a creepy policeman, his creepier neighbour, a horse, some child abuse, and a cheeky bit of murder. It was also directed by none other than frontman Oli Sykes, who, if we do say so ourselves, has some ridiculously impressive filmmaking chops.

You can give the video a suss below – start learning those lyrics too, because there’s only two months to go before Bring Me The Horizon return to our shores for Soundwave 2016! And… No flares this time, hey?

Check out the video for “True Friends” below.

That’s The Spirit is out now through Sony.
