Axl Rose In Talks To Write Music With AC/DC; Reveals New Material Is On Its Way!

Guns N’ Roses frontman (and dad rock connoisseur) Axl Rose took part in a rare Q&A conference in London on Tuesday and revealed a real scoop for GNR and Acca Dacca fans around the world.

While speaking at the China Exchange, Axl opened up about his relationship with Angus Young (AC/DC) and revealed that the current Guns N’ Roses lineup has new material brewing to release in the near future – and that fans may even see them record with AC/DC down the track. Axl explained “We (Guns N’ Roses) are working on new stuff and i’ve got a lot of stuff together. I played some stuff for Slash and Duff and they liked it, and Angus and I are talking about working together.”

Upon being questioned in regards to rekindling his relationship with Slash, Axl shared, “Slash and I hadn’t talked in 19 years, and it was a good talk. And I was, like, ‘You wrote a lot of stuff in your book that didn’t even happen. It’s not real.’”

As for his relationship with Angus Young, Axl described a unique relationship between musicians. “I feel protective, I do not want to let this guy down, more than almost anybody I’ve ever met,” Axl says. “And I don’t know why but he’s very responsive to me.. They said they hadn’t seen him this happy, they hadn’t seen him moving around. So that’s kind of a neat thing between musicians.”

Additionally, Guns N’ Roses fans will be excited to know that Axl also expressed the possibility of writing his own autobiography in the future.
