Turnover Drop Mellow New Single “Humblest Pleasures”

Turnover

Beloved Virginia rockers Turnover are keeping the sombre times rolling with their new single “Humblest Pleasures”.

The new track has been lifted from the outfit’s upcoming seven-inch, Humblest Pleasures/Change Irreversible. The EP is set to be released by Run For Cover/Memory Music on March 3, with the song getting its premiere over at Stereogum after the band begun playing it live last month.

The release of the EP follows on from Turnover’s 2015 album Peripheral Vision, which was produced by everyone’s favourite emo-engineer Will Yip. It marked a change of direction for Turnover from pop-punk to experimental indie rock, even taking a dalliance into shoegaze. It also achieved significant success, peaking on the US Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart at #4.

Luckily for us, Turnover will be in Australia this May when they head out on an absolutely epic tour with fellow scenegoers Basement and our very own Break Even. Before you complain, the tour will hit Perth, as well as Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
