Track Premiere: Horace Bones – Jack The Knife

Screen Shot 2016-09-01 at 12.02.19 PM

It’s finally happened: we’ve been gifted – nay, blessed with – a song so campy it sears the vision of rough-cut ’70s horror movies into its listener’s eyes forever. “Jack The Knife” is the latest single from horror psych-punks (yep) Horace Bones, and it’s pretty killer – in quality and content.

The track was laid down with producer Daniel Caswell (The Living End, Dune Rats) and William Bowden (Gotye, Eskimo Joe) as the first cut from Horace Bones’ forthcoming EP, Son Of The City, due to hit shelves on September 30th via MGM.

2016 has been a huge year for the quartet thus far, with three national tours under their belts and a healthy stack of radio loving from triple j. The band are about to head off on one last epic nine-date tour of Australia, kicking off at Sunifest in Collingwood on Saturday, before hitting Sydney, Fitzroy, Bendigo, Adelaide, Toollee, Brunswick and Warrnambool throughout the rest of the year and wrapping up at NYE On The Hill. Details for those shows can be found on Horace Bones’ social media!
