The Devil Wears Prada Drop Their First Single Without OG Drummer

The Devil Wears Prada

Despite losing their founding drummer, the snare-smashing Daniel Williams, Ohio Christiancore unit The Devil Wears Prada are still killin’ it!

“Daughter” is their first slice of new music since last August’s brilliantly conceptual Space EP, and retaining all of their usual energetic ire, it’s safe to say that Williams’ departure hasn’t impacted TDWP’s ability to make tunes you’re pretty much forced to headbang along to. The new single was accompanied by a seizure-inducing music video, which you can (should must) put on constant repeat for the next couple of days weeks months below. Haste The Day’s Giuseppe Antonio Capolupo has been brought in for drum duties on the new track, however it’s unconfirmed whether or not he’ll be settling in as a permanent fixture in the band.

This year marks the third since The Devil Wears Prada released their last full-length offering, 8:18, and the band has just announced that their sixth album – Transit Blues – will be released October 10 via Rise Records.

Suss out the first post-Daniel TDWP jam, “Daughter”, below.
