PVRIS Are On A Music Video Streak; Drop 3 Clips In 5 Days
The past five days have been pretty fuckin’ sweet for PVRIS fans – on top of existing clips for White Noise cuts “St. Patrick”, “Holy”, “Fire”, “My House” and its title track, the Massachusetts dark-pop trio have released new three new music videos for “Smoke”, “Ghosts”, “Let Them In” and “Eyelids”, leaving only two tracks yet to get the treatment.
First up is “Smoke”, a spellbindingly smokey affair (though I suppose that’s the point, right?) with frontwoman Lynn Gunn vibing on the jam with her bandmates from behind a shaky silhouette. It’s some trippy stuff, but nowhere near as mesmerising as the epic double feature of “Ghosts” and “Let Them In”, which follows the same concept, but from an alternate approach. “Eyelids” dropped this morning, jam packed with slo-mo, fabric, and Gunn looking ominously into and then away from the camera as she sings – peak PVRIS, if we do say so ourselves.
PVRIS’ debut album White Noise dropped at the end of 2014 to a whirlwind of praise, and the group made their touring debut Down Under last year supporting Circa Survive. A sophomore outing is expected to be announced in the coming weeks – one we hope is followed with some well overdue headline shows!
