Puscifer Announce First Ever Australian Headline Tour
It’s finally happening: after initially waving hello to Australia with two surprise sets at Soundwave 2013 (where they only played in Sydney and Adelaide, to boot), one of Maynard James Keenan‘s several non-Tool bands – the elusive Puscifer – have announced their first full-scale tour of the country.
They’ll be making their way Down Under in January as part of the MONA FONA festival in Tasmania, which alongside Mike Patton’s (mostly known for Faith No More) tētēma, they’re headlining. After that goes down on the 20th, though, they’ll hit some huge venues in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Joining them on all dates will be Luchafer – not an opening band, per se, but the Mexican wrestling alter-ego of Puscifer themselves. It’s… You’ve got to see it to truly understand.
Puscifer’s most recent album was last year’s Money $hot, which if you haven’t already fallen in love with, you absolutely will.
