Oli Sykes Drops Unreleased Bring Me The Horizon Demos

Bring Me The Horizon

Everyone’s favourite metalcore titans Bring Me The Horizon are lighting up the country right now on their headlining Aussie tour with Architects and 68, but if you haven’t caught them at a date you can console yourself by listening to some unreleased demos leaked by frontman Oliver Sykes.

The tracks that have been shared on Instagram include an alternative version of “Blasphemy”, which Sykes described as more grunge. “Don’t say you prefer it like this”, he added, “cos maybe I do too”. The other tune he posted is “Plume”, a demo that the cheeky vocalist compared to Death Cab For Cutie. He also noted that his heart has “one impressive resume- it’s been a ghost, a hieroglyph, it’s been frozen over…Someone actually figure out how many times I’ve talked about my fucking heart”.

ICYMI, Bring Me The Horizon dropped their most recent studio album That’s The Spirit just last year. In other BMTH-related news, Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish are set to climb Mount Kilimanjiro to raise money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Southampton Hospital. The hospital has been caring for Fish’s son Eliot, who suffered a brain haemorrhage at just four days old. You can donate here.
