Modern Baseball And Camp Cope Team Up For A Couple Of Falls Sideshows
After blowing us away with three bullshit good headline shows in April, it was only a matter of time before Modern Baseball announced their return Down Under. The indie-punk icons are heading back in December for this year’s Falls Festival, which hits Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle – not exactly the usual capital city circuit, but never fear: there are sideshows.
Brining in tow their game-changing third LP, Holy Ghost (the album dropped riiiight after that April tour wrapped up), MoBo are set to hit the Metro Theatre in Sydney and 170 Russell in Melbourne for two enormous headline jams. Taking their side for both dates will be Melbourne trio Camp Cope, who have been absolutely killing it in recent months.
Tickets go on sale this Friday morning (though there’s a pre-sale on Thursday via the Secret Sounds mailing list), and given the insane buzz surrounding both bands, we’d suggest investing in a decent alarm and typing out your credit card details in advance – lest you feel like falling prey to the scalpers.
