It’s Time To Worry: Jeff Rosenstock Is Releasing A New Album
Huge news for Jeff Rosenstock fans: Jeff Rosenstock frontman Jeff Rosenstock has announced a new Jeff Rosenstock album!
Worry is set to hit shelves on October 14th via Side One Dummy and Cooking Vinyl – it’s the long, long awaited follow-up to Rosenstock’s standout 2015 LP, We Cool?, and while that album found its footing with the relatable uncertainties and insecurities of growing older, LP3 takes a much darker, more confronting spin. The 17-track (but >35-minute) album tackles the crippling anxieties Rosenstock faces when thinking about what the world might look like over the course of the next four years.
“How am I supposed to explain love and happiness without addressing all the shit that tries to crush it?,” he asks.
Previously having treated us with “Festival Song” and “Wave Goodnight To Me”, Rosenstock today released the album’s third single: a fierce, fiery 30-second punk scorcher that trades his usual anxious tenor for sheer callous rage – “Planet Luxury”.
