Green Day Rob A Bank; Play A House Show In New “Bang Bang” Music Video

Green Day are back, and ready to revolt! “Bang Bang” is the first single from their forthcoming twelfth album, Revolution Radio, and after making its debut exactly a month ago, the punk rock revolutionaries have given it the music video treatment.

Directed by Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong, the clip sees three women rob a bank wearing what are without a doubt the most lifelike Green Day masks known to mankind, while, elsewhere, the band themselves play to a cluttered house crowd. Obviously, it’s a hyper-realistic concept based on events that happen regularly to the trio.

Revolution Radio is out in just under a month, hitting shelves on October 7th via Reprise. If the new clip isn’t enough to sate your Billie Joe Armstrong-sized appetites, the band also released the album’s title track last week.
