Exclusive Track + Tour Premiere: FOAM – “I Could Milk Myself”

Looking for your mid-week grunge fix? Step into our musical alleyway and let us deal you some heavy new shit from Perth kings FOAM. “I Could Milk Myself” is our first taste of the trio’s forthcoming debut album – title, and all the other stuff, TBA for now – and sweet mother of Nirvana, is it a quality jam. Clocking in at a dope 4:20, the tune is as pretty as it is gritty, a slathering of raw drums, guitars, and slurred vocals that, while totally all over the shop, just weasel their way right into your fucking heart.

“‘I Could Milk Myself’ is a song about companionship, anxiety and self-reflection,” says frontman Joel Martin. “I believe that the relationships you share with people are some of the most defining and important aspects of life.

“Sometimes when you find yourself vulnerable or lost, that support network of friends and/or family can be the only thing between you and that black void. No matter how independent or strong a person you are, sharing your experience is surely better than an entirely masturbatory existence.”

In support of the new howler, FOAM will be heading off on an extensive tour of the country all throughout August – stages in Perth, Newcastle, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Kyenton, Sydney and Wollongong will never be the same again. Date and venue info for all of the shows can be found below. Support acts will vary from date to date, but look, with how many times we unashamedly set “I Could Milk Myself” on auto-repeat, we’d be cool with a single 3-hour set from the boys themselves.
