Exclusive Track Premiere: Street Pieces – “Monster”

Street Pieces 800

Unique rock heavyweights Street Pieces have been taking Brisbane by storm, spending the last 12 months supporting legendary artists like Shihad and Richie Ramone, and sticking it out in the studio to bring their audience a brand new EP (which will be released early next year, FYI).

The boys are now releasing their brand spankin’ new (and largely anticipated) single “Monster” – a peculiar five-minute jam that intertwines psychedelic and heavy blues. The cut was mixed by Govinda Doyle, who has worked with artists like Dead Letter Circus and Angus And Julia Stone, and Mastered by King Willy, who has worked with Gotye, Eskimo Joe, and many more. Vocalist Ben Tilney explains, “It’s about a social pariah who can’t get too close to the one he loves or he’ll kill her. There’s a lot of reference to Jekyll and Hyde. Down in the dungeon locked away, and he can’t get too close or he’ll lose control.”

Submit yourself to the “Monster” below!
