What other names did you consider calling yourselves?
Once upon a time we thought ‘Scumbags’ would be cool – turns out it wasn’t. Our original drummer Emily actually though of the name Dregg; cheers Em.

Where are you from and what would be the most recognisable local landmark?
We are from all over: Jordan and Chris are both from the Gold Coast – nothing there we are proud of or would like to recognize, except our friends and the experiences they shared with us there. James is from Byron Bay – Beloporto Burgers in ya guts for sure. Glenn is from SE Suburbs in Melbourne… Up the Knox bus bays.

Who is in your band, what do they play and what is their non-musical superpower?
Chris plays Vocals: his superpower is magical joint summoning, in any conditions.
Jordan plays Guitar: his superpower would be to kill you with his 1,000-yard Nazi stare.
James plays Drums: superpower would be the ability to avoid aforementioned stare.
Glenn plays Bass: his superpower is that goddamn smile, just lady-killin’ as fuck.

Name your three biggest influences.
System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine and Eminem.

What’s the usual first topic of conversation when you take a break at rehearsal?
NBA, or who actually has money for the rehearsal room.

What’s your pre-show warm-up routine?
Jordan makes us do our stretches and then we get some paint and just get a bit weird with it.

Tell us about your most memorable show.
Probably when we supported Polaris on their last tour at Wrangler. We were also on a weekender with our mates Pridelands and it was also the first run of shows that we had with our new boy Glenn. That Sunday at Wrangler was just absolute chaos from start to finish – the amount of talent that we got to share the stage with that day was definitely a highpoint, but mainly cause it was all the boys!

What band would you most like to share the stage with and why?
We couldn’t really pick a band. Gwen Stefani or someone would be cool though.

What’s the most exciting album you’ve listened to recently?
letlive. – If I’m The Devil… Just… Yeah.

What is your latest release and why should we buy it?
“Sorry Daddy”. Don’t buy it, there are enough people in this world taking money out of your pockets as it is, please don’t add us to that list. “Sorry Daddy” is up for free download on our Bandcamp and you can also find it on Spotify and Apple Music.

If you could be endorsed by one company, who would it be?
Dare Iced Coffee. Jordan has being trying to get them to endorse Dregg since it started – we don’t think he will ever stop. He’s the only one that drinks it, really, it’s fuckin’ stupid man.

Why are you going to make it to the top over all the other contenders in the musical arena?
At the end of the day, all we want to do is share the stage with incredible like-minded musicians and artists. We won’t get very far if we consider it a competition, just enjoy what you enjoy doing and don’t hurt anybody in the process.

Other than Dave Grohl, who has the best beard in rock?
Joshua Cory from Pridelands. GAME OVER.
