they are 2 different types of music however I do prefer the dookie and nimrod days compared to now.

I like they're old stuff and they're new stuff equally as separate bands.. They're so different.. It's like comparing an apple and an orange.. They're two different things.. It's all merely a matter of opinion and I'm not sure where I stand.

There are some good songs on the later albums, but I definately prefer the older stuff. Either way, it's still good music, I love seeing them play live.:)
