The aim of the "Beyond Terror Beyond Grace" interview may have been to shed light on the supposed bull shit rumours but as far as I'm concerned all it did was cloud the actual issues in the band splitting up. Firstly Alex danced around the question on whether the band had split up instead using the pathetic wording of "no.,..just a new line up" and then using the rest of his answer to shamelessly advertise the attempted revival by the talent less side of the original BTBG. It seems like all you find on the internet are comments by Alex and whatever the other guys name is but to date no one has asked Bart or Ben for their side of the story instead Alex and other have painted a completely one sided and false portrayal of the bands splitting. Surely they can't be that ignorant to think that by answering a few questions in BLUNT the fans will simply roll over and accept the glossed over version of the split thinking to themselves "oh yes that all sounds lovely and true why would they lie? I mean it's not like they have anything to lose by letting us fans that built them see not only are they immature pricks but that the sydney music scene isn't good enough anymore for their egos". Be assured fans whilst other factors of these two may measure up shall we say small and lacking at least their egos will always be the biggest things they possess.

In regards to the legal issues over the names and songs how can Alex and no name honestly think there is nothing wrong with them maintaining the BTBG name AND continuing to play the songs. Although I suppose when the talent leaves the best you can do is attempt to cling to what remains. I guess that just shows their fear and recognition that were they to try and start a fresh with a new band name (perhaps something they actually created) as well as new lyrics and songs, they would fail...miserably. However big congrats to you boys for managing to do something new...a fresh and somewhat faggish photo accompanied this article! Good to see the new direction they will be taking.

The real shame in my mind is that now the BTBG name and what it represents has been tainted rather than embrace and celebrate what was and go their separate ways starting from scratch the remaining two are reverting to playground antics continuing to fight thereby dragging the BTBG name through the mud. It seems they wont stop till the BTBG name is ripped to shreds with fans simply shrugging at the announcement of a new cd. Apparently you don't need the respect of fans or the music community as long as you have unrealistic plans for big tours overseas and eachothers dicks all is well.

Careful Alex and no name the more you fight and bitch the more you begin to look like 15 year old school girls with severe cases of pms. Steady boys you just might hurt yourselves if you attempt some originality.

The reason I haven't commented is that Alex and Steve's lawyer Digby Law sent me a cease and desist letter about discussing BTBG and the split.

ha ha ha i wondered why this was the only thing quoted in the article:

'Nor is there any truth to the rumour that we've "initiated court proceedings".'

maybe because they needed to be specific, 'we haven't initiated court proceedings' isn't a lie, but 'we haven't initiated legal proceedings' is. ha ha ha nice work boys.
